We are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to drive awareness and adoption of our online learning center, AWS Skill Builder, to revolutionize the way organizations and individuals advance their cloud talent.

As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you are responsible for AWS Skill Builder and its accompanying product portfolio, including digital subscriptions, game-based learning, labs, and other hands-on applications. You define the product marketing strategy for the digital product portfolio at a global level. You develop a deep understanding of our customers - who are they, how they buy, and why they buy. You work with product management to deliver a seamless user experience and compelling training content. You use customer insights and evidence to develop positioning and messaging that resonates with our target audiences. You collaborate with product, sales, marketing, and launch management to develop and execute marketing plans that grow the business. You partner with sales enablement teams to articulate the value of our solutions to prospects and existing customers.

To be successful in this role, you have demonstrated SaaS B2B and/or B2C experience in driving results for a product portfolio, are passionate about technology development and launches, and obsess over the customer experience. You are unafraid to build from scratch, comfortable with ambiguity in a changing environment, and overcome obstacles to deliver results. You seek data to prove what's working and what isn't. This is a visible position that will interact at all levels of the company. You will be joining a highly collaborative team focused on delivering significant impact on the way learners and organizations acquire the cloud skills they need for digital transformation.

This role can sit in either Seattle, WA USA or Santa Clara, CA USA only. Relocation offered for these locations only within the USA only.

Key job responsibilities- Conduct customer research to inform marketing deliverables and influence the product roadmap.- Identify the target audience, buyer personas, and buyer journeys for your product offerings.- Collaborate with product teams to distill features and benefits of major launches into positioning and messaging.- Engage with marketing teams to develop marketing launch strategies and focused marketing programs that drive product adoption and usage.- Develop core go-to-market information for your product offerings, as well as presentations, customer stories, videos, and webpages.- Work effectively across the organization with groups such as product management, marketing, sales, and launch management teams to achieve joint business goals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches- Experience communicating results to stakeholdersPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting- Experience prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis- Experience with B2B and/or B2C SaaS business

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
