Associate Manager - Global Marketing Analytics

will work closely with the Manager - Marketing Analytics and Finance in designing, building, and maintaining reporting and complex analyses, to help us understand our business and measure impact of marketing efforts/campaigns. Requests often involve pulling together information from multiple data sources to support the translation of business performance into clear and actionable insights. The marketing analytics team plays a key role in representing the voice of marketing across the organization, synthesizing mostly financial, but also social/digital, experience, and brand data into comprehensive summaries. The ideal candidate is someone fueled by an insatiable desire to uncover insights and find solutions, which will drive the business forward.A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:Develops and works to continuously optimize periodic and ad hoc financial reporting which will inform the marketing organizations efforts (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc)Key reporting responsibilities include evaluation of topline business performance (sales, transactions, ATV), discounting/offer performance/incrementality, and product mix trends across multiple dimensions (visit type/channel, time, product mix, asset type, etc.)Summarizes promotional performance across all aspects of key marketing campaignsCollaborates with other functions (finance, operations, digital, etc.) to arrive at a clear, unbiased, and wholistic understanding of the promotion, inclusive of social/earned media performance, product mix, and transactional behavior (visit type/channel, daypart, etc)Extract and compile data from internal and external data sources for ad hoc analyses for various internal stakeholders (Finance, Innovation, Marketing, Operations)Create Power BI reports to provide updates on key business initiativesPartners with all marketing functions (brand, innovation, and digital) on market tests, from forecasted impact, shop selection, KPI/goal criteria, report development, periodic reporting and ultimately test summary/ recommendationMaintains highly detailed categorization database of all retail items/codes within the system which provides foundation for product and discounting reportingSupports pricing analysis requests, from reporting actual impacts of previous pricing activity to assisting with modeling impacts of potential price increasesConducts regular QA checks on transactional data and reporting to ensure absolute accuracyEffectively organizes findings into a variety of presentation formats and communicates summaries and complex analytical solutions to leadership

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:5+ years of finance and/or marketing analytics experienceBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related discipline requiredMBA PreferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced skills in MS Office software (Excel, PowerPoint) requiredExperience with SQL requiredExperience with other scripting languages (e.g., R, Python, and VBA), a plusExperience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools*The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of work performed by the employees assigned to this job and are not the official job description for the position.
