San Francisco, CA 94105Duration: 12 Months Contract with High possibility of extensionJob Description :This is 30 hours/week onsite role from SF locationFlexible schedule: Available for early morning or evening events1-2 years min hospitality, corporate catering, event planning experienceCatering Attendant, Client's Gallery - Job highlightsQualifications:Catering experience in Corporate Meeting and event planningThe ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks and juggling many tasks simultaneously, while interacting with visitors and program managersCommitment to the service values and ethics of the client companyTech savvy, able to enter data and print menus for meetingsMust possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state lawResponsibilities:Responsible for food set up and service for Gallery programs; food presentation, safe handling, operation of equipment, food safety and sanitation based on Company and regulatory standardsUtilizes daily production worksheets and to set up food and beverage for medium to large meetings and eventsAssembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locationsEnsures guests receive friendly, courteous service at all timesMaintain inventory of food and non-food supplies to stay within established guidelines while assuring that necessary product is available when neededPre-event menu printing and post event data entry, update feedback reportsEnsures the accurate execution of all events during his/her shift. Correctly and safely use standard catering equipment: chef knives, carts, chafing dishes and sterno, lift gates, risers, etcStocks, cleans, and maintains catering pantry, facility and equipmentParticipates and attends departmental meetings, staff development, and professional programs, as appropriatePerforms other duties as assigned
