We are looking for an energetic and experienced Product Designer with a passion for creating simple, beautiful solutions to complex problems. You obsess over understanding the customer and their context, enjoy creating user flows and prototypes to explore concepts, and tell the storybehind your design. You pay attention to the details and love polishing your work until it shines. You are keenly aware of the latest trends in modern web and mobile application design. You understand and are skilled in balancing innovation with consistency.
Responsibilities include:
Design digital user experiences across mobile and web solutions targeting specific customer personas and user storiesCreate wireframes, user flows and prototypes to communicate and iterate toward design solutionsUse design system component libraries to create consistent, efficient interfacesInteract daily with development teams in their scrum activitiesActive participation in a larger design team sharing and critiquing designs with peersActive collaboration with digital product owners and digital agile team to create and evolve designsActive participant in user researchAssist with usability testingHelp uphold design standards across all digital products and channelsAnalyze user feedback and analytics to iterate to enhance the user experience.Position Requirements:
Desired Skills and Experience:
1-3 years of experience as a digital/mobile user experience designer, interactive designer or similar roleBachelors degree requiredIn lieu of bachelors degree, will also consider 2-year associates degree in Computer Science, IT, Design, or Business or strong commensurate equivalent experience
A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions for web and mobile applicationsStrong communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills with an ability to rationalize and articulate the decisions that led toyour designsStrong diplomatic and communication skills, including the ability to articulate the business value of a good designStrong conceptualization and wireframing abilityExperience working in an agile team environment as well as working directly with developers for implementation of designs and prototypesA track record and passion for leveraging user centered design approach into solutionsPositive attitudeAbility to work and thrive in a fast paced environmentFamiliar with designing across multiple devices and platformsDesired experience in building UI functional prototypes in Kony FabricPortfolio which demonstrates digital design experience with focus on financial servicesDesired financial or similar industry experience
