Our client in Katy, TX is looking for a contract
SEO Content Specialist.
This is an on-site/ full-time/ 3-month contract position with the option to extend.Hourly based on experience: Up to $35/hr
Responsibilities:Write, proofread, and edit long-form articles that will be published in our Expert Advice section of the websiteYou'll work collaboratively with designers, developers, and digital marketing, and work closely with the broader marketing teams to complete your workHelp develop and maintain our content calendarPrioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPerform keyword/topic research using tools like SEMRush to optimize content (articles, products pages, and category pages)Assist SEO team members on the execution of tactics and strategiesUtilize reporting and analysis tools to generate reports that track and communicate the business impact of SEO initiativesPerform competitive analysis and present findings in compelling waysDevelop a thorough understanding of policies, procedures, and safety rulesDuties may change; team members may be required to perform other duties as assignedSkills:
Curiosity with a desire to learn new thingsNot afraid to ask questionsKnowledge of search engine algorithms and their effects on SERPsExperience developing and executing creative campaigns that encourage natural in-bound linkingDemonstrated understanding of web analytics such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics and KPI'sFamiliarity with tools like Search Console, SEMRush, and Ahrefs.High attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and efficient problem solverProficient in Excel or Google SheetsUtilization of HTML and CSSEducation:SEO training experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experienceWork Experiences:
2+ years of SEO-specific experience required2+ years of long-form content writing requiredPhysical Requirements & Attendance
Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job dutiesAdhere to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior
