As a

UX Designer

, you will deliver complex workflows and information into software experiences that promote elegant ease-of-use. Your emerging systems thinking acumen will be foregrounded to drive conversations, create concepts, help run design sprints, and build rapid prototypes that cultivate and leverage collective creative inputs. You will focus on growing your strengths in storytelling and honing your craft as a designer across research, design strategy, interaction, and visual design. You will play a key part in devising a highly usable experience strategy and architecture before delivering pixel-perfect designs.

As a designer on the

Data Experiences

team, you'll be designing for Walmart's internal data products and experiences. You will bring together and synthesize both familiar and forward-looking design for data practices for our partners across the business and help deliver clear and explainable data tooling and visualization. There is room to develop design subsystem components and flows and your facility with working both within and without the constraints of collaborative enterprise design systems (Figma, et al) will be appreciated . This work will allow you to innovate around design patterns that directly impact millions of customers via key financial, analytics, marketing , data science, ML, and operations systems. Our goal is to streamline the B2B encounter with data informed decision-making processes and bring a consumer software grade sensibility to every Partner and Associate at Walmart. Strong interaction, visual and prototyping skills with a keen understanding of trends in design practice.

Preferred qualifications:

Degree in HCI, Information Architecture, Digital Design, Graphic Design or similar and 2 + years of experience in UX design.

Have a fantastic portfolio of thoughtful design solutions.

Domain experience in data, analytics, or AI tools...and a keen eye towards industry trends.

Strong written and verbal communication.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00



Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 2 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 4 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
