Kellanova is looking for a Senior Portfolio Marketing Manager for the Away From Home (AFH) Business Unit. This person will own brand management and shopper marketing for our Sweet Snacking portfolio, which includes two of our top brands: Pop-Tarts and Rice Krispies Treats. This hybrid role ideally sits in Chicago or Naperville, IL with the expectation to be in the office Tuesday through Thursday. It partners cross-functionally with leaders in AFH to be the strategic marketing voice both internally and externally.

As a part of the Away From Home Marketing Team, you will shape our success in the Food Service and Small Format channels. This business services 20+ segments in a highly complex route-to-market. Your consumer expertise in immediate consumption, coupled with a brand-building DNA, plays a critical role in our journey to be the world’s best snacks-led powerhouse.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver Results – Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability for the categories you manage with appropriate top and bottom-line goal setting. Develop annual brand and category business plans focused on maximizing net sales and operating profit.

Drive Portfolio Growth – Oversee base brand management activities for your portfolio, including identifying product and packaging improvement opportunities, leading SKU rationalization and margin improvement projects along with driving brand and product prioritization.

Program Development – Create and advance shopper marketing programs specific to AFH channels, aimed at influencing the customers’ purchasing decisions at the point of sale. Includes but not limited to; in-store promotions, product displays, packaging, sampling, and loyalty programs. Must deliver strong ROI and sustainable long-term operating profit growth.

Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration – Manage critical portfolio projects with a cross-functional team. You will work in collaboration with key partners including Insights, Commercial Strategy, Finance, Supply Chain, Sales Excellence, and others to build and execute your strategies.

We’re Looking for Someone With

Bachelor’s Degree required in business, marketing, or related commercial field.

Strong marketing and commercial experience in CPG environment. B2B channel experience preferred.

Demonstrated excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills.

Adept at working in a cross-functional, matrixed organization.

Ability to operate both tactically and strategically and translate ideas into business results.

Partner with insights & analytics to uncover consumer insights for the Away From Home channels to support shopper marketing programs or portfolio growth opportunities.
