Under direction, with latitude for independent initiative and judgment, assess and organize incoming requests, manage web application projects of varying scale and complexity, support testing and training of systems, and coordinate evaluation and procurement of cloud services.Collaborate with management in the Communications division to set priorities and milestones for the project queue.Oversee the administration of all content management systems built and hosted by Digital Media.Advocate the use of Digital’s systems and solicit feedback for improvement through showcases to various bureaus and divisions of the agency.Educate and inform user groups through presentations and live demonstrations, along with the development of training materials and interactive online tutorials.Triage incoming change requests, bug fixes, and enhancements of systems and environments by using project management tools and techniques.Manage budgets and contracts for critical software services, by working with internal procurement teams and vendors.Identify obstacles, suggest solutions and establish consensus to foster continuous improvement, and move projects forward to completion.Work with project stakeholders, design and development staff, as well as management to interpret goals, analyze business processes, and document detailed project requirements.Provide quality assurance for projects and system support, including internal testing and user acceptance testing.How to Apply: Go to cityjobs.nyc.gov and search for Job ID# 646949.All applicants must apply via cityjobs.nyc.gov. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field, and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain; orAn associate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field, and six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain; orA baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, and eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain; orEducation and/or experience which is equivalent to "1", "2", or "3" above.Preferred Skills

Familiarity with web design, web technologies, usability standards and their practical application.Experience working with end users and documenting feedback and requirements through tracking systems, such as Jira and Confluence.Excellent writing, analytical, organizational, communication, and time management skills.Certification in project management (PMP, Agile Scrum, etc.).Public Service Loan Forgiveness As a prospective employee of the City of New York, you may be eligible for federal loan forgiveness programs and state repayment assistance programs.
