is looking for an

Executive Producer

who can oversee our Special Projects division. We need someone who can construct a vision for station specials and manage a team towards the vision. The Executive Producer will also oversee our investigative team. You will be a leader who can develop multi-platform content that succeeds on air, on mobile, and on social media. You are a pro when it comes to making decisions under the daily pressure and have a solid background in news producing. Overseeing the product is only one facet of the job. You must also be a coach and a leader with the ability to make those you oversee better. You will report to the News Director.ResponsibilitiesOversight of the preparation investigative stories & station specialsResearch, pitch, and gather enterprise news storiesOversight of the use of all our graphics resources to enhance our presentationManage, coach, and motivate producers, reporters, and video journalistsCommunicate with news staff, promotions, and production/engineeringRequirementsThree years producing experienceHave demonstrated experience in writing and be able to think visuallyCoordinate several crews and responsibilities simultaneouslySummarize information into easy-to-understand componentsCreative presentation style, and ability to showcase all resources and elementsUnwavering journalistic integrity and ethical standardsAdobe Premier editing systemRelated military experience will be consideredIn-person attendance is requiredDiversity StatementAt Hearst Television we tell stories every day.
