In this role, you will be guided by the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief People Officer and will work cross-functionally to execute internal communication initiatives from concept to delivery. As a tenured Internal Communications leader, you will ensure communication messaging and materials are accurate, high-quality, and aligned with the company’s brand strategy.The Principal Internal Communications Manager will also play a crucial role in shaping and promoting InvoiceCloud's employer brand. This involves creating a compelling narrative about what makes InvoiceCloud a unique and attractive place to work. By aligning this employer branding strategy with InvoiceCloud's overall mission and values, you will help attract, engage, and retain top talent. You'll be responsible for ensuring our employer brand is consistently communicated across all internal and external channels, including job postings, social media, company website, and during the recruitment process. You will collaborate with teams across the company to gather and share stories that highlight our culture, work environment, employee achievements, and opportunities for growth and development. Your goal is to make InvoiceCloud an employer of choice, known for its commitment to its employees and its positive, inclusive, and inspiring workplace culture.Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will establish and oversee all internal communications and employer branding processes, ensuring that they effectively convey our employer brand to both current and potential future employees. You will determine which platforms we will be using, establish specific channels for project teams, and facilitate communication of important developments and project updates between departments. In addition, you are to ensure that all team members adhere to these processes by following the established internal communications protocols.What you’ll do:Assist in the development and execution of an employer brand strategy for InvoiceCloudEstablish and oversee all internal communications and employer branding processesEnsure our employer brand is consistently communicated across all internal and external channelsConsult with executive management to develop effective and scalable communication procedures and policiesSupport leadership and functional teams by crafting strategic messaging and programmingApproach messaging with a creative mindset to develop talk tracks and thematic narrativesAid leadership by keeping employees updated about decisions made during important company meetingsThink critically about questions and concerns that may arise as a result of messagingPartner with broader corporate functions to explore/recommend new channels or technologiesDefine and measure KPIs associated with Employer brand and internal communicationsAssist in the planning, coordination and execution of internal employee events as neededWhat you’ll bring to the team:7-10 years of marketing and strategic communications experience, experience in fintech is a plusExceptional communication abilities across the organizationProactive self-starter, demonstrating high initiative and critical thinkingEditorial mentality that seeks to understand audience needsDemonstrated ability to successfully collaborate with executive prioritiesProven success leading multiple efforts simultaneously with outstanding project management skillsAbility to forge critical partnerships, influence effectively, and develop solutionsAttention to detail and willingness to be a change agentProfessional understanding of crisis management and crisis communicationsExperience working across HR and Marketing functionsBachelor's degree with a concentration in communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing preferredWhat success looks like:The 30, 60, 90-day plan describes what must be accomplished for this person to be successful.Develop 10-15 specific, objective outcomes that the person in this position should accomplish within their first 90 days.
