We welcome and encourage everyone who has a passion and curiosity for innovation, technology, and play to explore our open positions and join our growing global team.The PlayStation brand falls under Sony Interactive Entertainment, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony Corporation.Role Overview: The Events team is part of the Global Activations, Partnerships, Influencers, Events and Sponsorships group, and responsible for delivering B2B and B2C events including global brand activations, sponsorship activations, product launches, media preview events, influencer experiences, staff socials, launch parties and consumer exhibitions internationally. This role will work with multi-functional teams to deliver meaningful brand engagements and activations, that drive PlayStation brand affinity and expand the brand to new audiences.We are looking for a well-rounded Event Producer who has a high level of energy, flexibility, and who can think big. Our ideal new team member is creative, can multi-task, prioritise, and has experience working across geographical zones and agencies.What you’ll be doing: As Event Producer, you’ll be expected to manage large scale immersive events with high profile talent and attendees. You will be responsible for supporting the Events & Activations team in delivering against global brand and software strategies as determined by the Global Director, Events & Activations. This involves reviewing the territory propositions to the strategy and ensuring alignment to the objectives.A skilled marketer, you will have a passion for developing IRL experiences and innovative activations to amplify global marketing campaigns at scale. You have experience in event execution, project management and driving projects forward with tenacity. You integrate critical thinking, consumer insights and important metrics into decision making. As you will be working closely with global and local teams, international travel and calls involving late and early hours due to time zone differences will be required.Support the Global Director to implement the strategy of global campaigns. End to end management, production and evaluation. Including:

Global Brand activation campaigns.Game & Product launches.

Where applicable, develop the campaign roll out plan and toolkits for territories to replicate.Project manage all internal work for the event, including creative briefing and review, working with internal/external vendors for collateral materials/graphics, signage, and toolkits to support events.Work with the Global Director to surface territory event requests from the internal event submission system (Wrike), including major consumer shows such as Paris Games Week, various Comic Cons etc. Support includes:

Summarising the request for the Global Director to review, asking questions of the requesting territory to gather all relevant information for strategic review.Relaying feedback to the territory in a clear, professional and objective manner.For approved submissions, work with the territory to review all elements of the event, including reviews with the Product/Brand Managers, Legal, Global Creative Services for Masterbrand review, Health & Safety and Security plan reviews. Ensuring all reviews are completed within deadline ahead of the event.Ensure all evaluations are submitted and completed.

End of year program overview, analysing information from our internal event submission system (Wrike) and important metric information submitted by territories.Oversee campaign budgets, organising Purchase Orders, tracking payment and invoices.Bringing new ideas to the team and supporting process adjustments to improve efficiencies.Define and measure meaningful metric data and reports to further develop the events and activations campaigns.What we're looking for:

8+ years’ experience in event marketing, activation project management, managing global teams and/or developing event metrics a plus.Roster of successfully delivered event activation programs with proven business results.Experience in briefing and managing experiential marketing or activation agencies.Experience in negotiating event sponsorships, agency, and vendor contracts.Well versed in cultural and event marketing trends and new technologies.Knowledge of gaming industry, equipment & products is a big plus.Please refer to our Candidate Privacy Notice for more information about how we process your personal information, and your data protection rights.Equal Opportunity Statement: Sony is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
