Niantic's Platform Go-To-Market team inspires developers, creators, and consumers to unlock the magic of Niantic Map, our third generation, 3D map of the world that powers spatial computing. We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the GTM for a novel headset app and companion experiences.

Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.You'll do this by operating as a cross-functional leader alongside peers in GTM, Product, and Engineering to author strategies to find, educate, convert, and engage users. You will work with your team and collaborators to produce marketing roadmaps that deliver your strategies. With these in place, you will drive the execution on these roadmaps and will rigorously iterate on tactics based on performance to deliver the highest return on investment.

ResponsibilitiesPositioning: partner with cross-functional teams to sharply define the most valuable and viable target customers. Partner with Product leaders to ensure our roadmaps and positioning support each other to acquire and retain these customers.Strategy: create a marketing strategy that meets acquisition, engagement, and monetization goals. Ensure these are built on robust arguments, with checks and balances included.Roadmaps: drive the creation of a marketing roadmap that fulfills your strategy alongside partners, ensuring it aligns with the product roadmap.Execution: lead all aspects of the delivery of this roadmap, making sure that the way we’re delivering tactics sets us on course to achieve their goals.Analysis: review the performance of tactics against your goals and identify and make adjustments to close any gaps.Budgeting: decide how to distribute marketing budget to achieve the greatest return, track spend against it, and optimize from there.

Competencies8+ years of relevant marketing experience, including having been a senior contributor in a team that has launched and grown a top-tier headset app. It’s a plus if you've worked on creator-consumer platform marketing or have category creation experience.Solid experience across a broad spectrum of marketing specialisms, including content, community, social, and events.Strategic operator. You excel in precisely identifying the highest impact opportunities and problems, designing plans to solve them, seeing plans through, and iterating based on their performance.Strong project planning and management abilities. You naturally think several steps ahead to identify and mitigate risks, doing so across multiple work streams at once.Startup mindset. The total compensation package for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $188,100 - $209,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by work location and additional factors, including assessed job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
