POSITION SUMMARY:

The Vice President, Global Strategic Marketing is responsible for all marketing activities that drive Jupiter's current product line awareness and adoption as well as, all activities related to planning and developing future solutions that address unmet needs in the global cardiovascular arena. This role will also include all activities that facilitate overall company strategic planning.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and implement a global marketing strategy to drive Jupiter's global cardiovascular portfolio awareness and adoption.Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Product Development, Clinical, Legal, Medical Educations, and Sales to develop messaging, sales training and sales and marketing tools that drive brand awareness and product differentiation from competition.Maintain a strong understanding of the changing competitive landscape and cardiovascular device market dynamics to shape Jupiter's commercial approach, business strategy and future product development.Collaborate with Product Management to ensure timely and valuable sales support (i.e. ongoing training, competitive intelligence, Value Analysis/Innovative Technology review process, customized materials, support, and encouragement etc.).Identify and cultivate customer champions and strong KOLs to serve as advisors and partners to the business.Monitor product forecasts in collaboration with sales and operations to optimize manufacturing supply.Drive Business/Product Development activities and support all fund-raising efforts.Partner with Product Development teams on product iterations, line extensions, labeling/packaging updates, and future Jupiter technologies and clinical applications.Other duties as assigned to further support the mission, values, and goals as a member of the Jupiter Endovascular leadership team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:BS/BA degree required; MBA preferred.10+ years of diverse medical device marketing experience in domestic and international markets.Proven ability to collaborate with and manage Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships.Demonstrated leadership in launching an innovative product, including developing a vision and a strategy, working with a diverse set of stakeholders to execute the strategy.Ability to effectively influence cross-functional partners.Product marketing capabilities to support product portfolio and life cycle management.Creative problem-solving skills; advocate adoption of innovative approaches and ideas.Comfortable in ambiguous and rapidly evolving situations.Excellent oral and written skills with the ability to interact with board of directors.Proficient with Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

PREFERENCES:Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.Experience in cardio and endovascular medicine.Strong presentation skills.Health economics experience (reimbursement, hospital financial drivers).Established KOL relationships in Interventional Medicine.

WORK REQUIREMENTS:Position located in Menlo Park, CA.Domestic and international travel, 50%.Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
