Job ID: 2711001 | Amazon.com Services LLCAs Amazon’s store-wide design system owner, we define the UX guidelines and design language (codified in our shopping design system) that enables teams across Amazon to design on-brand shopping experiences efficiently and at scale. We are looking for a UX designer that enjoys building the design system that is utilized by thousands of designers and developers around the world. You love thinking about how the design framework and components work across different use cases (different screen sizes, languages, countries, etc). You love collaborating with design and engineering teams with different business objectives and identifying the solution that can scale.

Define and evolve the design systemBuild libraries for design tools (Figma, etc.) and contribute to design component documentationPartner with teams across Amazon to identify and deliver compelling ways to bring design consistency across the siteConsider market analysis, customer feedback, metrics, and usability findings to inform design rationaleCreate design specifications for engineering partners

We own the features that enable the customer’s shopping journey from discovery to evaluation, and purchase. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 2+ years of mass-market consumer web/mobile products experience- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
