As part of the nation's first research university, AAP offers high-quality master's degrees and certificate programs at its Washington, D.C., Center, at JHU's Homewood Campus in Baltimore, Maryland, and online. AAP enrolls almost 6,000 students each academic year in over 45 programs and distinguishes itself through its intensive instructional assistance, selective admissions, and 60 dedicated full-time faculty. Of particular interest are candidates who have experience engaging students from diverse backgrounds. We are looking for faculty who have experience in location sound. Minimum QualificationsAn advanced degree in any relevant field, with a master's degree at minimum.Or at least four years of professional work experience with film/television focused on location sound.Preferred QualificationsA terminal degree in a relevant field related to Film and Media.1-3 years of higher education teaching experience.Experience in developing graduate courses (helpful but not necessary).Experience in one or more of the following preferred:

Location Sound experienceExperience with professional on set location sound workflows.Experience with various professional industry-level sound mixers and microphones.Experience with physical production for film and other media types
