All scholarships are determined by position, time commitment, responsibility, and financial budget determined in April. Time Commitment: 15-20 hours a week
Responsibilities
Manages team of designers along with K-UTE Director.
Ensures that web and graphic design meets standards set by the leadership team.
Regularly responds to work messages via Teams and Gmail
Attends mandatory meetings
Sets the tone and style for the brand through graphic design and artwork.
Communicates all needs and concerns with the K-UTE Director.
Expectations & Duties
Holds and leads a design team meeting once a week.
Leads design workshops for staff on platforms such as Adobe, Canva, and Illustrator.
Creates a design style guide and ideas folder
Provides critical and constructive feedback to all graphic designers.
Assigns and delegates the work on an efficient timeline to members of the graphic design team.
Oversees the website manager, who is responsible for keeping our website up to date and accurate
Designs and approves merch orders.
Maintains a K-UTE Design Channel on Teams with all members.
Qualifications
Understanding and working knowledge of necessary software and tools used in the design process.
Previous work and/or education and training in design.
Preference given to applicants with prior experience in KUTE or Student Media.
Demonstrated leadership and/or previous management experience preferred.
Must be enrolled student progressing satisfactorily towards a degree.
Applications will be accepted until March 31, 2024.
