We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager with a strong UI/UX background to support our group by ensuring the success of key analytical dashboards and software applications leveraged by Tesla Global Supply Chain teams. You will be part of a team that is managing strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across all of Tesla’s Global Supply Chain Teams. The role requires the ability to build strong cross-functional working relationships with our technical engineers, supply chain, finance, internal audit, and operational teams, as you drive software implementation activities. You will interact with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, including executives on a regular basis and hence require the ability to perform hands-on operational tasks as well as strategize on longer-term complex challenges. Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills are crucial, as is the ability to synthesize complex issues, drive desired outcomes, and influence stakeholders across functions inside and outside Tesla.

All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.What You’ll DoDevelop and maintain a thorough understanding of Tesla internal and external supply chain tools to effectively support business users.Own software products and data dashboards end to end and manage their roadmap and lifecycle from product vision, strategy and roadmap to business analysis, requirement definition, product design, development, and testing.Articulate solutions to complex technical problems and present relevant information to a non-technical audience.Wireframing & Prototyping; Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas.Visual Design; Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.Create visually pleasing presentations for leadership.Drive implementation and long-term success of key applications used by Tesla’s global supply chain teams.Leverage data analytics to identify areas of software adoption and functionality improvements in partnership with product manager and engineering teams.Document business problem statements with supporting use cases, process workflows and dependencies, and partner with product manager to propose technical solutions for respective applications.Align cross-functionally with independent contributors and senior leadership interacting with respective applications on team adoption initiatives.What You’ll BringBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience, Data Science is preferred.Supply Chain knowledge is preferred.3-4 years of relevant work experience with evidence of successful software product implementation.Exposure to the agile software development lifecycle through product deployment.Experience working across and successfully influencing multiple internal stakeholders (IT development, supply chain, finance, legal, etc.).Experience creating operational metrics and dashboards using SQL and Tableau (or similar) visualization tools preferred.Strong expertise with Figma for designing products and interactive prototypes.Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with complex deadlines and large cross-functional stakeholder groups.Exceptional concise communications, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills.Compensation and BenefitsAlong with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:Aetna PPO and HSA plans > 2 medical plan options with $0 payroll deduction.Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits.Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution.Company Paid (Health Savings Account) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High Deductible Aetna medical plan with HSA.Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).LGBTQ+ care concierge services.401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits.Company paid Basic Life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance.Employee Assistance Program.Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions), and Paid Holidays.Back-up childcare and parenting support resources.Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance.Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs.Tesla Babies program.Commuter benefits.Employee discounts and perks program.Expected Compensation$72,000 - $264,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
