Summary

The Graphic Designer will work with Creative Design and Marketing teams to concept, design, develop, and implement packaging, digital, social, print, web, OOH and photo/video-related marketing materials and communications that support the brand strategy. The Graphic Designer is responsible for leading projects in the department as assigned to work towards fulfilling brands' needs in line with building equity, maximizing revenue, and supporting strategy.

Essential Functions

Conceptualizes engaging and brand-consistent projects for marketing campaigns, packaging, digital, social, print, web, OOH and photo/video-related marketing.

Participates in conceptual development and brainstorming of marketing campaigns with the marketing department.

Participates in and, when assigned, leads the creative process by presenting well-developed and strategic innovative solutions to meet all project objectives.

Responsible for designing, producing, and managing complex projects with high accuracy.

Develop, design, and execute all marketing materials as briefed.

Design eye-catching graphic solutions to communicate the brand message and excite the consumer.

Responsible for all aspects of projects, including composition, typography, color studies, photo retouching, and preparing files for printers/vendors.

Knowledge of building print ready files.

Keeps up with industry trends with a strong pulse on culture to continue to drive brand relevance.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of related work experience in Graphic Design/Marketing Communication across branding, packaging, digital, and tradeshows with an emphasis on CPG branding.

Proven ability to work collaboratively, develop and foster relationships across teams.

Can assess their strengths and weaknesses with a strong desire to elevate their career through training and other development opportunities while sharing this knowledge with members of the broader team.

Understanding utilizing brand and campaign guidelines, as well as expert knowledge of graphic design principles such as layout, typography, brand colors, logo usage, and hierarchy, is a must.

Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.

Experience in art directing, photography, and video preferred.

Experience working with Adobe After Effects is a plus.

Strong presentation skills.

Ability to meet deadlines and works well under pressure.

A robust aesthetic sense; highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

Experience with project management and communication tools (Wrike, Asana, Basecamp, Teams, etc.).

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
