The Director of Advancement and Communications at Emmanuel Christian School champions the advancement and promotion of ECS within the community, and amongst Christian churches. Oversee all three elements of ECS advancement: admissions, fundraising, and community relations.Develop clear and attainable strategies for annual growth in all advancement arenas, in alignment with the ECS mission.Create and implement a donor relations strategy.Meet and exceed annual advancement goals.Lead a team and work with key members in connected departments to ensure consistent and professional implementation of advancement strategies.Cultivate a team approach to fundraising, and ensure compliance of all efforts to overall school strategy.Work with administration to generate and implement a strategy for marketing and school branding.Ensure all school communication with stakeholders is professional, purposeful, and on-mission.Requirements

Demonstrate evidence of personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.Pastoral reference from local church to verify regular attendance and active involvement.Adhere to the mission statement, core values, Code of Conduct, and Statement of Faith of Emmanuel Christian School.Experience in an office setting; ability to communicate effectively with a team.Proficiency in office software: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite.Proven track-record of positive team leadership, by managing staff and securing volunteers.Demonstrated effectiveness in creating advancement strategies and managing their implementation.Skill in organizing and overseeing major advancement events.Ability to communicate effectively to individuals and to groups.Motivation and skill to meet expected annual revenue and enrollment goals.Enthusiasm and passion for the mission of ECS.One year of professional experience in advancement desired but not necessary.
