We offer a casual dress code, and a hybrid work environment which allows for remote up to 3 days per week and requires employees to be in office a minimum of 2 days per week.Position Overview:Working closely with an integrated marketing and communications team and other stakeholders, manage all aspects of assigned marketing projects for the Society; develop and implement data-driven marketing campaigns for STS events and programs; write and update content on the STS website; contribute content to social media sites; track and report on metrics.Position Responsibilities:Develop and manage marketing plans for assigned campaigns, projects, and programs, including in-person and virtual educational offerings, membership, products and services, and other STS offerings.Execute tactics outlined in marketing plans using an integrated, multimedia approach (e-mail, website, organic and paid social media, print, video, etc.), monitoring their progress to ensure the projects are on time, on spec, and on budget.Work with the Senior Marketing Manager to apply data/insights to target stakeholders based on career stage and areas of interest.Write and edit content for a variety of offline and online communications such as email marketing, website, newsletters, direct mail, promotional materials, etc.Monitor and report on marketing project metrics such as response rates, site visits, open rates, and click-throughs to analyze a project’s effectiveness and optimize future campaigns.Regularly update marketing copy on STS.org and assist in monitoring the presentation of website content for consistency and brand standards.Contribute to STS social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Flickr, and Instagram), as related to marketing projects.Serve as a backup project led to the Senior Marketing Manager.Seek competitive bids on print and design projects, as assigned.Write articles for and proofread STS publications as assigned.Assist at meetings and conventions.Position Qualifications:·Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field is required.·Minimum three years related work experience in marketing, preferably within the association industry and/or health care environment.·Excellent written and oral communication skills, including copywriting abilities.·Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, content management systems (e.g., Drupal, WordPress), social media (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, Instagram, LinkedIn), and social media management platforms (Hootsuite, Later.com).·Familiarity with customer relationship management software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics), e-mail marketing software (e.g., ClickDimensions), online design tools (e.g. Canva), paid social platforms (e.g. Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads).·Excellent organizational, project management, and follow-through capabilities; attention to detail·Ability to manage several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.·Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, volunteer leaders, other organizations, and industry contacts; tact, diplomacy, and good judgment.·Positive attitude in the workplace.·Flexibility and adaptability to changing daily activities and schedules.·Ability to travel, as necessary.
