Learn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.Responsible for managing various marketing projects within University of Maryland Medical System Strategic Marketing department. Ensure marketing projects are executed efficiently from initiation to completion. Collaborate with UMMS marketing and communications teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and continuity with objectives, identify and resolve issues, communicate updates, and drive implementation. Work is performed under general direction. Direct report to the Sr. Director of Strategic Marketing.Principal Responsibilities and TasksThe following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all job duties performed by personnel so classified.Manage marketing campaign process for UMMS and member organizations.Ensure adherence to the organization’s brand standards that reflect its mission, values, and strategic direction.Assist in reviewing creative assets associated with projects (e.g., print collateral, print and digital advertising, videos, email content, webpages, social media, etc.).Assist with preparing reports regarding UMMS marketing initiatives and campaigns, member organization growth needs, established priorities, regulatory environment, etc.Partner with cross-functional team members (e.g., web, creative, CRM, marketing automation, etc.) in executing multichannel marketing plans.Ensure seamless execution of marketing campaign process, including documentation, kick-off meetings, reviews/approvals, tracking, and creative production; lead weekly campaign status meetings to gather and share information with marketing teams; lead campaign kick-off meetings with marketing team and agency partners; communicate and coordinate with agency partners.Assist with developing, implementing, monitoring and socializing new and/or existing processes to improve cross-functional alignment, workflow efficiency, effectiveness and decision-making.Assist in the coordination of layout, design, writing, editing and production of marketing collateral, advertising, website and other materials for internal and external consumption.Ensure all required elements to successfully execute marketing plans are created with all applicable legal and compliance requirements.Assist with preparing reports to illustrate the market position of service lines, affiliate hospitals and outpatient practice locations.Assist with determining the return on investment for marketing campaigns.Research, understand and apply consumer demographics, psychographics, and propensity models to achieve marketing goals.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.Three (3) to Five (5) years’ experience in strategic marketing, preferably in the health care industry, that includes knowledge of various marketing vehicles.Three (3) to Five (5) years’ project management experience in a large corporate marketing department, or agency, preferably in the health care industry.Experience with customer relationship management systems, content management systems, marketing automation, and project management software (e.g., SmartSheets, Asana, Trello, etc.).Experience developing and optimizing multi-channel customer relationship programs that drive acquisition and foster engagement.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesFamiliarity with the health care industry.Advanced knowledge and understanding of strategic integrated marketing campaigns, goals/objectives, KPIs, target segmentation, campaign deliverables, and CRM.Demonstrated proficiency in creative writing, editing, proofreading, and formatting marketing materials and documents.Advanced skill in planning and executing marketing and communication projects in a highly complex environmentAdvanced analytical, conceptual thinking, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Advanced skill developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with all levels of leadership, staff and vendors.Advanced skill using innovative thinking to solve problems and facilitate the decision-making process.Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work.Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with strong collaboration skills.Ability to analyze, compare, contrast, and validate work with keen attention to detail.High level of proficiency and demonstrated effectiveness in problem solving, prioritization and implementation of new programs related to increased departmental and organizational efficiency.Advanced verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.Advanced skill in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
