About the PositionThe Product Marketing team at Contrast Security focuses on driving growth of our business by quarterbacking the go-to-market strategy. We do this by understanding technology, market drivers, competition, and customer needs with the responsibility of communicating product messaging and value to internal and external audiences, and of creating compelling offers to generate demand, drive adoption and the overall success of our products. You will be part of a team responsible for developing positioning and differentiated messaging, defining go-to-market strategy, and for launching and driving thought leadership for Contrast's solutions.In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the go-to-market strategy and execution for Contrast's use cases, industries, and solutions. You will serve as the subject matter expert for competitive intelligence - providing strategic insights and actionable recommendations that will quarterback the go-to-market strategy to grow product adoption, build pipeline and improve customer retention. You should be willing to roll up your sleeves, dig in, learn, problem solve, be creative and do what it takes to win the market.

Storytelling - Develop solution positioning, value proposition and messaging that differentiates Contrast Security in the market.Sales enablement – Communicate value propositions to sales teams and develop sales materials and tools that support the selling process.Market intelligence – know the needs of our customers and prospects and be a knowledgeable authority on our competition with the ability to articulate value and differentiate our solutions.Competitive analysis and positioning – Understand competitive solutions and develop strategies and collateral to properly position the Contrast Security solution.Public speaking – Present to audiences at industry events, tradeshows and customer meetings.Demand generation activities - Partner in demand generation activities with Marketing teams.Cross-departmental collaboration – Accomplish the above by having a constant communication flow with internal groups, including Marketing, Product Management, Sales and the office of the CTO.Key assets - written collateral, presentations, solution/demo videos, social media activities.

Qualifications

10-12 years of marketing experience, with 5+ years of product marketing experience at companies focused on software and SaaS models. Must be familiar with cybersecurity, DevOps, application security, and/or developer-oriented products and solutions.Experience marketing technology products to large or mid-market buyers.Strong organizational, prioritization, project management and time management ability with a deadline focus.Emotional intelligence to navigate ambiguity, take initiative and work collaboratively to deliver insights, provide solutions to challenges and recommendations based on analysis.Strong right brain, left brain balance — analytical + creative.Demonstrated success of leading projects, launching products and driving product marketing activities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Pro-active and driven to solve problems and find innovative solutions.A profound sense of ownership and accountability is required.Strong acumen about new technologies and commercial acumen in the software industry.Strong business acumen and the ability to forge and maintain relationships.Exceptional communication skills including the ability to influence, guide, and work with senior executives to achieve joint objectives.Experience of working in collaboration with a diverse range of business functions and customers to drive change and achieve delivery.Demonstrated problem solving ability and attention to detail to deliver high quality output.

What We OfferSalary and Other CompensationThis position's standard base pay range is $200,000 - $250,000 annually. This position is also eligible for an equity package subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.
