With our historic growth, it is an exciting time to join our team of employee-owners.This opportunity entails being responsible for the creation of templates and all required graphics for complex and/or mega proposals, interviews and in-house materials across the Mid-Atlantic Division states, including Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, the Carolinas and Washington, DC. Creates the design and layout, and coordinates production of various materials, including printed brochures, flyers, boards, etc., as well as multi-media designs to create an image, communicate concepts or deliver a message in the most effective way. May oversee the work of less experienced staff members.What You'll Do:Creates print and digital materials for proposals, including templates, charts, maps, infographics, covers and layout.Creates print and digital materials for presentations, including PowerPoints, leave-behinds, and display boards.Creates print and digital materials for PR and internal communications, including brochures, ads, and announcements.Follows and implements the visual identity direction from leadership on key projects and pursuits.May work on complex projects requiring specialized design or industry knowledge, including leading creative direction for print and digital materials for proposals, presentations or other marketing-related efforts.Utilizes storytelling techniques and champions creative vision on key projects and pursuits.Leads maintenance and organization of digital assets such as icons, photography, and stock graphics.Coordinates with print vendors and photographers.Responsible for final graphics review and approval.Mentors lower-level designers. Regularly shares and discusses work with creative staff.May assist with conducting trainings for Marketing staff.Performs other duties as assigned.What You'll Need:Associates Degree in Art, Graphic Design or related field and 6 years of relevant experience, orIn lieu of education 8 years of relevant experienceWhat You'll Bring:Creating projects using advanced knowledge of InDesign and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).Implementing interviewing techniques to uncover the message and transform it into visual or graphic information.Translating information creatively by assessing problems and conveying visual solutions independently. Providing support for less-experienced staff.Developing advanced-level presentation templates (e.g., PowerPoint or Keynote). Active participation in the development of presentation storyboards, look and feel, messaging, and rehearsals.Implementing storytelling techniques to graphically represent ideas, championing creative vision on key projects.Guiding the direction of the work, managing work flows, and bringing new software, innovations, efficiencies.Gathering data from strategic war rooms, presentation rehearsals, and graphics meetings. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.The approximate pay range for Washington, DC is $91,259.50 - $142,739.20. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
