They are proficient in the use of a diverse range of equipment, including Excavators, Loaders, Dozers, Rollers, Graders, Skid Steers, and others as required.
This is a Union position.Main ResponsibilitiesOperate equipment used in construction following safety regulations.Perform pre-operation and regular checks on equipment functionality.Maneuver heavy equipment following crew signals.Understand ground disturbance issues.Perform grading, finishing, backfilling, demolition, loading, excavating, and stockpiling.Perform routine cleaning and maintenance.Follow company Policies and Procedures.Promote and comply with Safety Program standards.Carry out assigned duties.RequirementsCurrent member of applicable Union.Authorizations to operate vehicles in the field.Physical RequirementsPass pre-employment/random drug screening and a PAT (physical abilities test).May occasionally exert force of 20-50 pounds, 10-25 pounds frequently, or 10 pounds constantly.
