Zuma is seeking a visionary Founding Product Designer to establish the foundation of our design culture and create the frameworks that will guide UI/UX at our company. Define and implement the design framework that will be the cornerstone of all Zuma product interfaces and experiences.Lead the design process from concept through to execution, crafting wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features.Work closely with product management and engineering teams to align product strategy and design philosophy.Conduct and apply user research and usability studies to iterate and refine designs based on user feedback.Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards across the company.Lead and scale the design team as the company grows, playing a crucial role in hiring and mentoring new team members.Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in crafting tech product interfaces.Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and other prototyping tools.Proven ability to design across various platforms including web, mobile, and tablet.Excellent leadership, communication, and collaborative skills to work effectively in a dynamic startup environment.
