Full-timeDescription & Requirements Maximus, a government contractor, is seeking a Specialist - Videography & Photography to support marketing and communications efforts. This role will have the opportunity to work on diverse activities, from shooting and editing video to photography covering events. The designer must demonstrate effectiveness as a team player while being largely self-managed and possess strong attention to detail. Candidates should possess strong technical skills and be knowledgeable in the production of video projects. Travel up to 15-20% throughout the US/Canada is required.IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to be considered, you must provide a link to your portfolio on your resume or cover letter.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Shoot videos, including location and studio, and manage and maintain in-house equipment and studio space.Develop, recommend, and implement shooting strategies and storyboards for corporate videos.Plan and meet critical deadlines within the preproduction and execution process.Assist in video and audio production and post-production.Help to develop creative visual problem-solving in scope and on brand.Perform technical editorial functions including rough cuts, graphic design and integration, VO inserts, and color correction.Assist the team in developing and designing new video and multimedia content.Knowledge of lighting and scene prep for videos (audio recording skills a plus).Deliver creative and adaptive visuals from conceptualization through the final product.Interpreting client briefs into successful and effective concepts.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.3+ years of professional video and still photography experience.Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.Ability to incorporate stakeholder/user feedback and design critiques.Creative knowledge of modern, industry-standard video techniques (understanding of image delivery formats is a plus).Ability to multitask and self-manage deadlines of competing projects.Understanding of the creative process in a collaborative environment.Solid portfolio required: Resumes/cover letters must include links to samples of work.Knowledge of Adobe CC, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects, is a plus.Up to 15-20% travel throughout the US/Canada.Maximus is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
