This exciting journey will elevate the Westport Estate experience, making it a must-visit destination for visitors from around the world.About the Role:Westport Estate is seeking an exceptional Head of Marketing and Sales to lead and execute strategic initiatives that will drive both revenue and brand growth. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the reimagining of one of Ireland's most cherished estates.As the Head of Marketing and Sales, you will be responsible for defining and implementing innovative marketing and sales strategies across all Westport Estate properties, including Westport House, Westport Adventure, and The Grace Hotel. You will work closely with the executive team to align our vision with actionable plans, while leading and mentoring a dynamic marketing and sales team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and has a passion for driving brand excellence.Sales Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to capture current market demand and identify future growth opportunities.Create and execute sales plans that drive measurable incremental growth in occupancy, average rates, food and beverage sales, and overall footfall.Regularly review and analyse sales forecasts and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with revenue targets.Lead efforts to expand our client base, including engaging with travel agencies, airlines, and professional associations both domestically and internationally.Participate in revenue management and sales reviews, optimizing strategies to maximize profitability.Utilize data-driven insights to enhance sales performance and make informed strategic decisions.Marketing Responsibilities:Develop and lead the execution of both short-term and long-term marketing plans that align with Westport Estate's strategic goals.Oversee brand development and management, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all channels.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and maintain a competitive edge.Manage all marketing channels, including digital marketing, social media, public relations, CRM, and events.Represent Westport Estate at industry events and trade shows, building relationships with key industry stakeholders.Proactively position Westport Estate as a leader in the tourism and hospitality industry, enhancing brand visibility and reputation.Leadership and Management:Mentor and develop the marketing and sales teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.Set and monitor KPIs, ensuring that all sales and marketing activities deliver strong ROI.Manage budgets for sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring effective use of resources.Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that marketing and sales strategies align with overall business goals.This job description is not intended to be either prescriptive or exhaustive; it is issued as a framework to outline main areas of responsibilities at the time of writing.Required Skills:Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing and sales, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry.Strategic Thinking:

Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring teams.Communication:

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with C-suite executives and board members.Brand Management:
