Director of Marketing Operations

based out of Atlanta, Georgia. As the Director of Marketing Operations for Honeywell Building Automation, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing function’s tools, processes, data, and strategic priorities. This role ensures that the marketing team operates smoothly, aligns commercial functions against BA’s strategy, and accelerates attainment of business goals by understanding and defining how to best win given market, customer, and competitive insights and intelligence.

Leading the transformation of Marketing Operations practices with the objectives of improving service and quality, reducing costs through continuous improvement.Driving marketing excellence, executing strategic projects and program operations under the direction of the CMO and working through and influencing members of the leadership team to drive results.Collaborating with the CMO and other senior leaders to support strategic planning and to facilitate the data, tools, and processes needed to optimize marketing campaigns and initiatives.Leading and managing the marketing budget process, ensuring collaboration with finance to guide visibility, tracking, and timely approvals and optimal allocation of resources.Streamlining marketing processes including lead process and attribution of revenue to digital campaigns to improve measurement, efficiency, and effectiveness.Developing and maintaining marketing performance metrics and dashboards.Analyzing campaign performance data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance marketing capabilities.Collaborating with marketing and cross-functional teams to move work forward.As a people leader at Honeywell, you will also have the following responsibilities:Developing and supporting your team of marketing operations professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to help them perform at their best.Identifying and developing successors within your team, fostering a culture of growth and career development.Driving employee engagement and retention through effective communication, recognition, and opportunities for professional growth.Fostering an inclusive and collaborative team environment, promoting diversity and ensuring equal opportunities for all team members.Building a strong and diverse team by recruiting top talent and promoting a culture of excellence.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identifying work streams within the organization, identifying silos and providing recommendations to break down silos to drive improved performance.Gaining understanding of core issues through analyzing data, listening, and observing; compiling findings and making informed recommendations on next steps to CMO and leadership team.Working within an integrated cross-functional team to execute plan.Regularly meeting with leadership on program insights, potential issues, and recommending solutions to address.Preparing regular reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics and ROI.This role oversees the marketing MOS to drive clarity and closure of issues across the business and to facilitate overall business growth.Analyzing and reporting on the performance for the marketing function.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and optimized execution.Building insights and intelligence engine through internal and external sources in key markets.Owning the “how we will win” commercial playbook.Synthesizing market, customer, and competitive actions to deliver insights, implications to key stakeholders.Collaborating with stakeholders on potential actions given insights and implications.Developing internal communication repository and mechanism to ensure awareness, on-going education, and support for stakeholders/BA leaders.Providing feedback loop to related commercial functions such as strategy, sales execution, and offering management.YOU MUST HAVE:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.8+ years of total experience in marketing, with a focus on B2B marketing.3+ years of experience in data-driven marketing roles such as digital marketing, reporting and analytics, competitive intelligence and/or market research.Proven track record of developing, executing and optimizing successful integrated marketing strategies and campaigns.Experience with multiple go-to-market channels including sales, familiarity with driving leads through the pipeline and success driving demand generation for a B2B company.Strong analytical skills and ability to derive insights from data.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.WE VALUE:

Master's degree in Marketing or a related field.Experience in the building automation industry is a plus but not required.Knowledge of marketing operations best practices.Experience managing agencies and scopes of work with vendors.Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives.Ability to forge solid relationships and manage across a broad and geographically dispersed business.Demonstrated analytical, business planning, and problem-solving skills.Additional Information
