Our current customers use our client for everything from real-time climate monitoring to connected appliances.Building IoT products requires cross-disciplinary collaboration with people of different backgrounds. With your help, they will maximize the social and commercial potential of the Internet of Things.RoleThe Lead Product Designer will play a key role in designing the next generation of IoT and device management tools and interfaces within their Notehub cloud service, as well as user-facing product documentation. You will work closely with the Product Owner and cross-functional engineering teams to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance the user experience across both desktop and mobile web platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign user-centered products from concept to launch, ensuring a seamless user experienceCollaborate with engineers to ensure designs are feasible and align with technical requirementsCreate wire-frames, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as FigmaConduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on design solutionsDevelop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across productsStay current with best practices in UI/UX design and incorporate them into the design processWho You AreB.S. degree or equivalent experience in Design, HCI, or related field4-8 years of experience in product design, with experience designing complex applicationsHave a strong portfolio showcasing your previous workProficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XDStrong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practicesExperience conducting user research and usability testingAbility to create responsive web designs that work well on both desktop and mobileExcellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to articulate design decisions and rationaleComfortable working autonomously within a fully remote, distributed teamGreat attention to detail, well-organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyBenefitsCompetitive salaries & equityFully decentralized and remote from day oneHeavily subsidized medical, dental, vision, and 401kUnlimited PTO & flexible work schedulesYour choice of equipment and environment (Mac, Windows, Linux)Cross-functional team with an inclusive, friendly cultureStrong emphasis on collaborationThey are proud to foster a workplace free from discrimination.
