role is a full-time exempt position reporting to our Head of UI/UX Design.

WHAT YOU WILL DOLead and oversee the user experience and visual representation of a feature from conception to launchCreate organized user flows and wireframes to discover optimal user experience for complex actionsProduce high-fidelity UI mock-ups of interfaces in FigmaPresent and communicate your designs clearly to both business stakeholders as well as developers for handoffProvide UI/UX design consistency throughout all applicationsIterate based on peer feedback, user research, usability testing, and analyticsAdvocate for the user by prioritizing design-centered product enhancements grounded in research and analysisBe resourceful and creative to overcome obstacles and turn challenges into opportunitiesWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or related field or equivalent work experience6+ years' experience designing user interfaces, trading systems, a plusAbility to own the design process end-to-end from concept to implementationExperience in working in an Agile environmentOrganized, self-motivated and obsessed with finding the right solutionTeam focused and highly communicativeTechnical skills such as ability to code HTML, CSS, JavaScript a plusProven hands-on visual designHave an available online portfolioKnowledge of the financial markets a huge plusStrong work ethic, interpersonal skills and independent project and time management skillsCommunication with end users, assessing requirements and managing expectations professionallyEnjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environmentAvailable to work onsite in the Chicago office for the first six (6) months 5-days a week and then convert to hybrid (3-4 days/week) in our state of the art officeLocal to Chicago area only or willing to relocate to ChicagoWHAT TO EXPECTHighly competitive pay, benefits and bonus structureHealth insurance (medical, dental, vision)Voluntary ancillary plans (Life & AD&D, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Critical Accident and Critical Illness)Discounted pet insuranceProgressive time off benefits (unlimited PTO, maternity leave, paternal leave)Wellness programsZen Den for meditation, naps, nursing, or just to decompressHybrid work environmentWork with high-caliber and innovative professionalsWeekly catered lunchesAccess to unlimited snacks and beverages in our lounge areaMonthly, Quarterly, and Semi-Annual company sponsored events401K Safe Harbor Plan and MatchOnsite gym membershipDivvy bike accessA fun and collaborative environmentSpiderRock
