You represent the perspective of our users to help understand their needs, motivations, and pain points.What you'll doThe role responsibilities include the ability to run workshops, conduct generative and evaluative research, story-telling, and presenting deliverables to senior executives.You’ll sweep us off our feet if you have...A strong working knowledge and experience using multiple generative and evaluative research methods, how to apply them in a fast-moving organization. You have experience mentoring or coaching other researchers on the use of these methods.Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, Social Sciences, Market Research, or a related field with 5-7 years of job experience.Adaptability and a growth mindset, seeking out and welcoming feedback from senior leaders and managers.Ability to produce great work in short timeframes, multi-task across different projects and platforms, and adapt to the ever-changing priorities of the business.You’ll make an impact by:Pulling from a broad toolkit of research methods, including live studies, un-moderated studies, field studies, participatory design, heuristic evaluations, and remote usability testing.Prioritizing key initiatives across stakeholder areas for actionable results.Solving complex problems with curiosity and openness.Proactively soliciting and leveraging competitive research, data, and analytics to inform design and business strategy.Thinking holistically through the entire ecosystem of end users and competitors.Switching gears from deep design thinking to rapid-fire execution.Having exceptional communication & presentation skills, both written and verbal.The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role. Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 5 years’ experience in market research, business analysis, UX design research, or related area.Option 2: 7 years' experience in market research, business analysis, UX design research, or related area.As permitted by applicable law, provide evidence of full vaccination as defined by CDC guidelines OR secure approval of medical or religious accommodation for the vaccination mandate.Preferred Qualifications

Driving product development in a design research area, Market Research, Business Analysis, UX Design Research, or related area, Master's degree in UI/UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area, Related industry experience (for example, retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare), Research or design certification (for example, IDEOU - Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate), We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.Primary Location
