Paid Search (SEM) Specialist . The ideal candidate will develop, implement, and optimize effective search campaigns to maximize KPI-based performance while keeping within fixed budgets and defined PPC rate ranges. This person will join our Ad Operations group to ultimately support a team of sellers in maximizing digital revenue growth in some of our largest and most strategic paid search accounts.

Apply fast, check the full description by scrolling below to find out the full requirements for this role.As a Paid Search (SEM) Specialist, you will be responsible for onboarding client campaigns, making strategic decisions, optimizing toward stated goals, and deriving reporting insights for “data storytelling”. You’ll also provide ongoing performance-based suggestions, sales support, creative management, and end-to-end facilitation of search engine marketing (SEM) solutions through tracking, reporting, and analyzing website analytics, pay-per-click (PPC) initiatives, and campaigns. Additionally, you will perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization efforts to stay on top of market and industry trends.You will have the opportunity to use your passion for digital marketing to develop personalized, innovative, full-scope advertising solutions to meet the marketing needs of new and existing clients through the integration of digital products and services focused on our advertisers’ end goals.Responsibilities:Orchestrate large-scale SEM programs anchored in data and optimized with rigorous analyticsPrepare, onboard, and optimize a book of business across a variety of client categoriesAudit areas of opportunity within our existing SEM accounts and execute against these opportunities to positively impact performance of the channelUse current campaign performance to test new insights for growing profit and ROAS of our campaigns from variances in keywords/phrases, strategies, audiences, and spend levelsDeliver an exceptional customer experience through flawless operational executionCollaborate with internal teams to develop creative strategies and innovative solutions to accomplish high-stakes business goals across other channels while staying within cost constraintsDevelop hypotheses based on data trends and design tests to unlock new areas of growthCreate business cases that support the opportunities for increased investment in the channelMonitor campaign performance and provide regular reports to account management team, highlighting successes, segment gains/losses, and areas for improvementAnalyze and translate campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement to meet client goalsOversee ongoing internal reporting and account trackers in order to provide ongoing details about campaign pacing, reporting metrics, account health, project timelines, etc.Assist in sales opportunities to determine deficiencies or weaknesses in our clients’ current paid search setup, and make recommendations on how we can helpIdentify opportunities for revenue growth, and work with internal teams to suggest new strategies and campaign optimizations that drive revenue and/or performanceSupport strategic agency projects as needed (like onboarding a new platform, researching new products/partners, or setting up new offerings in our planning tools)Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, sharing insights and knowledge internallyQualifications:Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on Google paid searchStrong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prioritize and solve client issuesDemonstrated ability to be self-motivated and task-oriented for complex and fast-paced projectsTime management and organizational skills, with high attention to detailExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsMust be a team player, with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teamsExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teammatesProven track record of delivering successful digital campaigns that drive resultsFamiliarity with Google Ads (AdWords), Google Analytics, Google DV360 and CM360, YouTube Ads, Floodlight, and Google Tag Manager; certifications in some/all of these is highly preferred!What We Offer:Focused, responsible, and collaborative work environment with the ability to ask “what if” and try innovative solutionsMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance coverage for you, your dependents, or domestic partner401K with company matchPaid Vacation, Sick & Holiday time offParental leave time off benefits, life insurance, disability insurance, a wellness program, and an employee referral bonus programFor immediate consideration, please visit [Link available when viewing the job]For more information about CUMULUS MEDIA, visit our website at: [Link available when viewing the job]CUMULUS MEDIA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
