As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.About the Role:We are looking for an experienced product marketing executive to fuel our next stage of growth. You will lead a team and collaborate closely with partner functions to drive our product marketing strategy, launch multiple new products a year, own and refresh core marketing artifacts, and develop and deliver high-priority sales enablement and marketing content.We will ask you to be a hands-on leader who understands our customer needs, sales process, product capabilities, and competitor environment. You will join sales calls and customer visits and be responsible yourself for delivering on some of the highest visibility or most important marketing content.In this role, you will:Lead the product marketing team in strategically positioning our core product suite and platform across all customer and sales facing assetsPartner closely with product, engineering, sales teams and leaders to develop and deliver on our product marketing vision and pipeline objectivesGather customer insights and feedback, understand their voice, and integrate it into our messaging and strategyDrive the successful launch of new products by leading go-to-market motions that differentiate our products and brandCollaborate with sales teams to drive enablement tools, training, and materials that empower them to communicate the value of our products to our customersShare Samsara’s impact by speaking at internal and external eventsChampion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally and across new officesHire, develop and manage an inclusive, engaged, and high performing teamMinimum Requirements for the Role:5+ years of experience in Product Marketing (B2B SaaS experience preferred)7+ years building and leading a teamStrong commercial orientation - excited about being in front of customers, providing critical support and tools to close individual deals, and partnering with marketing to design an effective pipeline generation strategyExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messagingStrong internal communication and relationship building skills. Proven ability to work cross-functionally with executive stakeholders, including C-suite, Product & Engineering VPs, Finance, and cross-functional leadersStrong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skillsData-driven, with the ability to structure complex analysis and derive insightsProven success in management and development, with desire to grow and scale a high-performing teamAble to create clarity out of ambiguity for yourself and othersBachelor’s degree or higherMBA or similar requiredBenefitsFull time employees receive a competitive total compensation package along with employee-led remote and flexible working, health benefits, Samsara for Good charity fund, and much, much more.
