Overview
Hydrogen and Gas Pipeline Designer II – Plant3D Specialist Cordoba Corporation is seeking a talented Hydrogen and Gas Pipeline Designer II with expertise in Plant3D software to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and developing pipelines, facilities, and distribution networks for hydrogen and gas projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge initiatives that contribute to improving clean energy technologies.
Responsibilities
Utilize AVEVA software to design and model oil and gas facilities, including offshore platforms, refineries, and petrochemical plants. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive facility layouts and engineering designs that meet project requirements and regulatory standards. Lead the development of 3D models, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and other technical drawings using AVEVA software. Perform design reviews and evaluations to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior designers and engineers, supporting their professional development and growth. Work closely with project managers, clients, and vendors to coordinate design activities, resolve technical challenges, and optimize project outcomes. Stay current with industry trends, software advancements, and emerging technologies to improve design processes and deliverables continuously.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. Five to eight years of experience in pipeline design, with a focus on hydrogen, gas, or similar energy infrastructure projects. Proficiency in Autodesk Plant3D software, Autodesk Civil3D, software, with a strong understanding of its capabilities for 3D piping design, modeling, and documentation. Solid knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations related to pipeline design and construction (e.g., ASME B31.3, API 1104, DOT regulations). Experience with pipeline routing, sizing, and material selection, considering factors such as pressure, flow rate, terrain, and environmental conditions. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality designs on schedule and within budget. Hybrid role: Two to three days in the office. Salary Range: $30.00 to -$45.00 per hour.
