The Global Marketing Director will be charged with leading commercial diagnostic strategies in close collaboration with the Global Disease Leaders (GDLs) and Global Asset Leaders (GAL) in Human Health as well as the Diagnostic Development Teams (DxDTs) in our Company's Research Laboratories.As Global Marketing Director, Precision Medicine you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative precision medicine technology solutions / biomarkers and communications plans, to support our growing portfolio of Oncology Medicines across early stages of the diseases. The development of tumor & asset specific diagnostic commercialization plans & tactics is done together with Regional and Local Diagnostic Leads. Key focus areas will include commercial planning for novel biomarkers such as ctDNA/MRD as well as communication plans for early-stage precision medicine topics.The role as Global Oncology Marketing Director, Precision Medicine holds the opportunity and requirement to work with multiple assets and tumor types and interface with a wide range of functional areas to continuously optimize innovative diagnostic strategies and their execution. You will drive initiatives with our Diagnostic and Technology partners as well as our internal support functions and you will be a key member of our Global Oncology Marketing Team.Key Responsibilities:Providing commercial diagnostic leadership, support, and expertise to Diagnostic Development Teams (DxDTs), Global and Regional Marketing Organizations.Short & long-range Business Strategy & Planning; development of diagnostic strategies & tactics, including market preparation, positioning, messaging, competitor assessments, etc.Providing commercial diagnostic input on activities such as diagnostic target product profile development, partner selection, market research, BD&L activities, etc.Global engagement of key scientific leaders relevant for guiding strategy development and enablement of the use of the diagnostic test together with Medical Affairs and key R&D functions.Working effectively with all cross-functional internal partners including HH, our Research & Development Division, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Legal & Compliance, as well as external Diagnostic and technology partner companies to successfully deliver on precision medicine goals.The position will be based in Rahway, NJ.Education:Required: Bachelor's DegreePreferred: MSc, PhD, and/or MBARequired Experience:Minimum of 5 years of industry experience (Pharma and Diagnostic).Strong Pharma or Diagnostic experience within Oncology.Pharma & Diagnostic marketing experience.Deep scientific understanding of oncology molecular targets and diagnostic technologies.Strong understanding of the role of biomarkers & diagnostics in Oncology Precision Medicine.Demonstrated commercial leadership in development of diagnostic product strategy & planning.Strong cross-functional and informal leadership skills in problem-solving, teamwork, analytical, written/verbal communication, and presentation skills.Proven ability to work with many areas of marketing management including strategy development, competitive dynamics, and issues management in a highly complex and dynamic environment.25% Travel, including some weekends.NOTICE FOR INTERNAL APPLICANTSIn accordance with the Managers' Policy - Job Posting and Employee Placement, all employees subject to this policy are required to have a minimum of twelve (12) months of service in the current position prior to applying for open positions.If you have been offered a separation benefits package, but have not yet reached your separation date and are offered a position within the salary and geographical parameters as set forth in the Summary Plan Description (SPD) of your separation package, then you are no longer eligible for your separation benefits package. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.Expected salary range: $181,600.00 - $285,800.00Available benefits include bonus eligibility, long-term incentive if applicable, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
