MPC Color is a major, global department with MPC Advertising. The department is led in the US by Mark Gethin and globally, by the renowned Jean-Clement Soret. Our team of Colorists is highly celebrated and they are regarded amongst the very best in the world.
We are looking for a Producer to join the team in Los Angeles; to work alongside the Executive Producer of Color and our LA based Colorists to help expand on existing relationships within the advertising industry.
The role is responsible for looking for new opportunities and contacts within the creative community in LA and on the West Coast. This individual must have good production skills, a strong new business sensibility and some post-production knowledge. We are looking for someone with a genuine enthusiasm to present MPC's outstanding color projects to potential clients in the US.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for identifying and developing new business opportunities and managing new business presentations, pitches and reelsDevelopment of new client relationships and successfully maintaining existing relationshipsManaging bids and schedulingKeeping up to speed with the industry, competitors and new work coming outBuilding a contact portfolio in the advertising worldRequired Skills and Experience:Solid experience in sales and productionKnowledge of the color grading processExperience of presenting reels and pitchingGood Excel and Word skillsExcellent working knowledge of the advertising production industryExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsGood working knowledge of bidding and schedulingAbility to work in a team and on own initiativeAbility to work under pressure and to deadlinesGeneral knowledge post production pipelineIf you are interested in being considered for the role, please send your resume and covering email to
