Find out more about this role by reading the information below, then apply to be considered.Role Summary Demonstrates specialized hands-on capability to drive components of the UX design process. Recommends and contributes to strategic direction of UX design and workflow, including quality, maintainability, and security of design process. Capable of leading regular, ongoing projects and teams, providing feedback on others' designs. Serves as an expert consultant to multiple business teams to manage the most complex projects and solve issues. Influences key project stakeholders in design best practices to drive the priorities of the business. Leads adoption of global design standards and coordinates with Design Community members to establish unified user experiences. Drives evaluation and reporting on the health and impact of our experiences. Acts as a recognized Mentor within their team; helping to retain talent by providing onboarding, guidance, direction, and a strong team culture. Leads initiatives and actively provides feedback on others’ designs.

Responsibilities:

Fluent in financial services, and expanding knowledge of the team.Maintains a strong network of business stakeholders.Utilizes specialized knowledge of products/flows within the businesses they support.Contributes to decisions that are cognizant of the firm’s broader business environment, strategy, and future priorities.Recommends solutions aligned with UX Designer and business unit strategies.Leads a wealth of user research including interviews, surveys, usability tests, and analytics. Synthesizes feedback and provides strategic design direction based on findings. Advocates for the customer.Balances strategic and pragmatic concerns when solving problems.Anticipates, detects and overcomes complex issues before the broader team is aware of or impacted by them.Knowledgeable of industry trends and technologies and knows if/when/how to apply them appropriately.Evolves the brand story by leveraging brand assets and personality to define the user experience, and maintain a cohesive brand presence across all touch points.Comfortable with many technologies and methodologies, and adapts to new technologies quickly.Performs as an expert in multiple parts of the UX Design process and coaches others around such practices.Provides oversight of the UX Design activities on assigned projects, makes methodology and design decisions based on core technical principles.Provides a clear and concise explanation of business strategy, technical concepts, designs, or implementation to a nontechnical audience.Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations and guides junior UX designers.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND8+ years of total relevant work experience.

FINRA Requirements FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility This role is eligible for full remote work.

Regional Requirements Wage Transparency Disclosure:Colorado and the State of Washington: $89,500 - $153,000 AnnualCalifornia and New York: $112,000 - $191,000 Annual*Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance. Salary range disclosure as required by sb19-085 when hiring in Colorado, S9427A when hiring in New York, SB 1162 when hiring in California, and SB 5761 when hiring in the State of Washington.
