We make athlete* dreams real.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORExperts in Art Direction are exceptional teammates, focused on execution, they work under the direction of Creative Directors and alongside producers and narrative leads. They are master executors when it comes to design and are familiar working across several mediums including art direction, moving image, graphic and spatial design. They deliver coordinated design solutions across all appropriate channels. They have a passion for creativity and are committed to staying up to date with current and future trends and technology.WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON+ Work with the Art Director, Sr. Creative Director and studio team to develop the visual direction.+ Help to craft the Art Direction, uphold excellence, ambition, and team spirit.+ Deliver best-in-class photography, video content, digital and experience design in service of the brand & consumer.+ Develop and maintain relationships with photographers, filmmakers, illustrators, designers, and their agents.+ Help craft art direction for performance video shoots, ensuring our content is always on-brand, diverse, contemporary, desirable and within agreed budgets.+ Keep up to date with emerging trends in fashion, design, film, art, media and technology as relevant to Nike and the design team.+ Collaborate with Brand Voice, photography, styling, marketing, digital, retail, experience, product design and concepts to lead teams through creative process and projects.+ Ensure all projects are well-planned, creatively outstanding, and delivered timely.+ Review project work for highest standards of quality, consistency and success.WHO YOU WILL WORK WITHYou will partner with the Art Director and Sr Creative Director, creative studio teammates, Brand Voice, Nike Digital and Retail Marketing, Merchandising, Global Styling, the Global Brand Imaging Studio, the Content Production teams and Geo/City Studios.WHAT YOU BRING+ Minimum 7+ years graphic design and art direction experience in branded content, agency, editorial or marketing environment.+ Bachelor's degree or higher in graphic design or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.+ A passion for the Athlete*, Sport and Culture.+ Solid portfolio of creative work, exhibiting a seasoned background in digital and editorial design.+ Great knowledge and expertise in all aspects of layout, typography, illustration, identity, digital production and publishing across editorial formats and platforms.+ Thorough understanding of today’s media landscape and how people engage with content, with in-depth knowledge of interactive communication, processes and user-interface design for digital products.+ Ability to collaborate with and creatively manage freelance design talent.+ Ability as a mentor, with a knack and passion for helping everyone on the team—especially senior-level and entrepreneurial talent—to grow, improve, succeed, and advance toward collective and individual goals.+ Ability to lead team efforts while also working independently to deliver on individual responsibilities.+ Proven ability to flex and adapt to changing business needs while maintaining creative quality.+ Laser-sharp focus with ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.+ Strong time management with ability to toggle between daily and long-term tasks, keeping workstreams moving forward simultaneously.+ Excellent verbal and visual communication skills; adept at presenting and defending creative work.+ Strong interpersonal skills with dedication to foster cross-functional teamwork and an open, positive and collaborative environment.+ Highly developed curiosity and in-depth understanding of design culture, current and past.+ Astute attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills in service of your creative projects.+ Experience across O2O environments, with ability to bridge a connection between business needs, creative vision, and consumer interests.NIKE, Inc. is committed to employing a diverse workforce.
