Join our team to help build a better, more sustainable world for future generations!**Job Summary:**The Marketing Manager role is a dynamic and strategic position within the Electric Power organization, responsible for supervising the development of marketing strategies and providing sales support. This role involves leading the marketing operations, collaborating with Electric Power Segments to align marketing initiatives, and driving cross-functional collaboration within the marketing team and the rest of the division. The ideal candidate will utilize data-driven insights to inform marketing decisions, develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, and lead and mentor staff. Additionally, the manager will manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support strategic initiatives.**Degree Requirements:**• Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, digital marketing preferred.• 10+ years of marketing communications experience – familiarity with marketing campaigns, marketing automation, content marketing, managing strategic marketing agencies & budget management.• Proven ability to build relationships and identify collaboration opportunities across product and industry teams.• Knowledge of channel and media strategy, Google Analytics and marketing trends.• Analytical and multitasking skills.• Experience in Marketing Analytics management.• Electric Power products, services and strategy knowledge.• Knowledge of Caterpillar dealer network and digital ecosystem desired.**What you will do:**• Lead the marketing operations for the Electric Power team to ensure efficient execution of marketing through communications, customer experience, campaigns, events and new product introductions. This role will assist in pulling together Electric Power marketing across regions (Americas, EAME, AP) through intentional communications efforts.• Collaborate closely with Electric Power Segments (REPS, LEPS, Rental and ETCS) to align marketing initiatives with segment-specific goals and objectives. This includes maintaining of governance with each of the segments to ensure marketing activities are aligned to key segment metrics.• Responsible for LEPS, EP Rental and Hybrid Energy Solutions technical marketing activities for successful NPI and DTO launches; review feedback and adjusts accordingly• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support Electric Power’s marketing objectives.• Lead and mentor staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation• Ensure details of the complete EP product offering are readily available through emc.cat.com, cat.com and catdealer.com product pages• Manage relationship with Cat Visual (Black Hills) for the creation and updates of renders and BIM Models to support product launches and on-going business needs• Leverage bimobject.com to highlight our product offering in an on-line catalog• Build customer engagement with our dealers through Seminar in a Box series and Continuing Education Units (CEUs); review feedback and adjusts accordingly• Address the Dealer Skills Gap Analysis through web-based training course creation and administration of EP campus on the dealer performance center; review uptake and adjust accordingly• Manage and oversee the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support strategic initiatives.**What you will have:**Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.Digital Marketing: Knowledge of processes, techniques, and platforms of digital marketing; ability to implement or manage digital marketing programs.**Additional Information:**· Domestic relocation assistance is offered for this position.· Position may be located in Irving, TX, Griffin, GA, Peoria, IL, Houston, TX, or Lafayette, IN.· Domestic travel up to 25% and minimal international travel is required.**Employee Benefit Details:**· Our goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career.
