Discover a career in banking at Fifth Third Bank.GENERAL FUNCTION: Full profit and loss responsibility for Bancorp Consumer Re-marketing including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Risk Management, Customer Service and Collections in a matrix management environment. Position has 4 Direct reports and numerous internal, matrix, and external service providers. Responsibilities pertain to Re-marketing all Bancorp Consumer Assets, Lease-Terms and Repossessions, with the exception of Real Estate Owned, including Automobile, Motorcycle, Recreational Vehicle, Mobile Home and Marine.Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:+ Improve sales proceeds for Consumer Assets.+ Enhance sales and marketing cycle time.+ Enhance Dealer and Loan and Lease customer service levels & relationships.+ Enhance Billings and collections relating to Excess Wear/Tear/Mileage and Residual Value Insurance policies/Billings.+ Enhance Affiliate and other internal relationships.+ Reduce portfolio risk.+ Cross-sell Bank products and services..+ Also, serve as Bancorp expert on key Re-marketing policies and procedures, such as Residual Value Insurance, Vendor Single Insurance and Collateral Protection Insurance. In addition, establish and maintain relationships and contracts for external service providers, such as Automobile auctions and inspection companies.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Had 4 or more direct reports and numerous internal and external service providers. Working with Bancorp and Affiliates Management set, measure and act upon performance standards relating to Duties & Responsibilities. Develop and/or assist in special functions, sales events, etc. Lead Re-marketing team in the identification and implementation of sales and business process improvements. Responsible for the immediate resolution of customer complaints including appropriate documentation. Monitor Risk and Legal compliance for sales and business processes. Develop, coach and counsel team members.
