DescriptionAWS World Wide Public Sector (WWPS) Partner team is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level public sector partners and customers. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.In this role as Communications Content Specialist, you will develop and drive an internal content for the Organization, working across business functions, regions, and all levels of the organization to make sure our customers are a top-of-mind audience. You must have a proven history of operationalizing workflows, developing success measurements, and building mechanisms that help enable communication at scale—all while thinking big and creatively. The ideal candidate will excel at working collaboratively with extended team leaders and colleagues to deliver crisp, consistent messaging. You actively listen and employ data to craft what-and how-we communicate, shape, and amplify to inform the organization and our business partners. You are a strategic, skillful writer, strong communicator, and creative thinker. Attention to detail, ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment, and excellent organization and program management skills are critical. The right candidate excels at absorbing complex information and translating it into concise, compelling content to impact organizational goals. They will be involved with Marketing and Public Relations for helping tell customer and partner success stories across a diverse geography, with leadership presentations while driving the communications effort across a growing, multi-language business.Key job responsibilitiesDevelop and execute a communications strategy that drives predictable information flow, organizational alignment (Commercial Sector/Public Sector/AWS Partner Organization), and employee engagement across the organization.Develop and implement communications vehicles (internal newsletters, all hands meetings, video messages, etc.) in alignment with the communications strategy that incorporates program/project management for deliverables with dependencies.Create a mechanism to align the community of communications managers within AWS (CS/PS) to share information, ideas, and best practices to drive message consistency and adoption with PR, Policy and Marketing.Build repeatable content with use cases to strengthen the storytelling of AWS Partner business.Create communications for the organization’s leader, including drafting talking points, scripts, presentations, and internal communications.Executive communications for the organization’s leader, including drafting talking points, scripts, presentations, and internal communicationsProvide expert internal communications counsel to diverse groups across the organization, and represent the AWS customer audience in the development of communications strategy around company issues and important news.Develop and manage style guidelines and communications governance standards across all internal channels.About the teamDiverse ExperiencesAWS values diverse experiences. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
