If you have a portfolio of published reviews, we invite you to apply.NOTE: The ideal candidate will be comfortable with producing written content.Requirements+ NYC-based and able to attend screenings and interviews multiple times per week.+ Proven experience as a writer, movie critic, reviewer, or similar role, with a portfolio of published articles (or equivalent).+ A passion for cinema and a deep love for movies across a wide range of genres.+ In-depth knowledge of film history, genres, and industry trends.+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.+ Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.Preferred Qualifications+ Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Journalism, or a related field.+ Active presence on social media platforms with a focus on film-related discussions.+ Familiarity with SEO best practices for online content.+ Existing relationships with PR for screeners and interview access is a plus.+ Experience writing movie and TV related news content.Technical requirements+ A computer with a high-quality webcam and microphone for virtual interviews.Powered by JazzHR
