In this role, you'll lead the design for a new marketing automation/orchestration platform, help shape a child sponsorship repository project, and stay hands-on by developing code for campaigns and mentoring a team of marketing campaign specialists & technologists. You’ll bring high energy, expert facilitation, and deep tech know-how to partner with senior leaders and marketing teams, driving solutions that truly make a difference.Are you up for this challenge? If so, read-on and apply below.Responsibilities+ Step into a soon to start 18-24 month project that will transform the way we market and communicate with donors – digital first, donor-centric, and modern in design!+ Lead the thinking on how to solution design the implementation of a new marketing automation/orchestration solution so that the best technical answer is coupled with the best business answer coupled with the best long-term management answer.+ Step into the emerging changes in the way we conduct work across the organization as we blend waterfall preferences for Agile methodologies with a dose of Scaled Agile added in!+ Keep your hands close to the technology by creating / writing code to support the development of campaigns in platforms such as Iterable, Braze, Adobe Journey Optimzer, etc…+ Participate with program teams on an emerging methodology to support independent, yet interdependent, workstreams to align to programmatic objectives and outcomes while also operating independently to achieve workstream-specific objectives. Think about Scaled Agile Release Trains & Program Increments.The TeamAs a Business Solution Architect, you report to the Senior Director of Strategy, Product, and Marketing Operations (inkedin.com/in/tamalynramsey/) and serve on a highly motivated matrixed team of individuals focused on delivering great experiences to donors. You will be directly part of a small but mighty team who take Marketing Campaigns and transform them into experiences realized in-market. To complete your projects, you must partner across the larger Digital & Marketing teams which includes: digital development, program management, data warehouse, ERP, AND product experience/marketing teams. You get to be a true cross-divisional player, using advanced skills in influence and motivation, touching the breadth of our ministry.Requirements+ Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related field (Or equivalent work experience).+ At least 7 years of relevant technical and business work experience with at least 2 years managing projects in a marketing organization.+ Certifications in SAFe, Scrum, and/or related.+ Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (e.g. Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions). Incorporate World Vision Core Values into decisions within scope of role).+ Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.Skills+ Familiar with agile development methodology.+ Adept at breaking big problems into smaller pieces of work.+ Comfortable writing user stories.+ Experience using work-tracking tools such as Jira.+ Experience with designing technical architecture solutions to meet business needs.+ Experience with marketing technology platforms, e.g., CDPs, CRMs, marketing automation tools.+ Exposure to large scale projects that drive change in how people think and approach work.+ Capable of juggling and driving several areas of work at once. You thrive under pressure and are able to see the forest through the trees to work with minimal oversight.+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.+ Experience working with senior leadership.+ Experience in marketing or working with marketing teams is highly desired.Salary Range & BenefitsYour compensation and benefits are important to you so they’re important to us. The full salary range for this role is $90,187.62 - $145,905.62 . The typical hiring range is $115,000 - $130,000 . Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity.
