Apply today!Overview:Chartwells Higher Education is seeking a Graphic Design Intern for Connecticut College. This role is perfect for students passionate about design and eager to gain hands-on experience in creating digital and print collateral. As a Graphic Design Intern, you will work closely with our Marketing Manager to develop visual materials that support our marketing campaigns and enhance the student dining experience. Your work will play a crucial role in maintaining brand identity and engaging the campus community through compelling designs.Key Responsibilities:- Design and produce a variety of digital and print materials, including posters, brochures, newsletters, promotional guides, social media graphics, and more.- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and execute designs that align with Chartwells' brand standards.- Assist in designing and maintaining web pages and digital platforms, ensuring a consistent and user-friendly experience.- Work on web design projects, including landing pages, microsites, and content updates.- Ensure all designs are visually appealing, on-brand, and effectively communicate the intended message.- Contribute to the development of marketing collateral that supports campus dining programs, events, and promotional campaigns.- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that all content is accurate, well-written, and visually cohesive.- Assist in creating templates for various marketing needs, streamlining the design process for future projects.- Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide input on creative strategies and campaigns.- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.Preferred Qualifications:- Currently enrolled as a student at Connecticut College.- Strong portfolio showcasing digital and print design work.- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.- Basic understanding of web design principles.- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of visual esthetics.- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and engaging content.- Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.- Experience with social media content creation is a plus.This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the visual representation of Chartwells' dining programs at Connecticut College.
