Together, we are on a quest to change banking for good.****About the Role:****Capital One is looking for a strategic, results-driven Technology Communications professional to join a talented group of communicators on our Corporate Communications team.****In this role, you will work in close partnership with Technology leaders and partners to lead a Communications strategy and execution for a multi-year technology modernization program.****This position requires exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; experience building and executing communications strategies and leading projects and teams to meet objectives; and the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders while operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and an ability to successfully build in white space.****Responsibilities:**+ **Design framework to ensure seamless communications across the organization**+ **Track key senior forums and provide organizational updates to Senior Leadership Team**+ **Manage internal communications in the form of town halls, blogs, vlogs**+ **Help implement the communications strategy that brings the technology modernization program’s narrative to life**+ **Be a creative storyteller to curate engaging experiences including executive gatherings, all-employee meetings, digital/video storytelling and special events**+ **Play an integral role promoting associate engagement, stakeholder awareness and energize the modernization program culture**+ **Evaluate performance for communications, based on real-time metrics and other leading key performance indicators; recommending refinements to communications strategies, messaging and new feedback mechanisms, as needed, based on ongoing assessments**+ **Partner with and influence internal partners as needed in the best interests of the business and its employees.****Our ideal candidate will possess:**+ **Strong business acumen and customer / product-orientation**+ **Proven track record of building collaborative work relationships**+ **Strong storytelling skills with sound editorial judgment**+ **Keen ability to distill complex content into clear, concise and engaging communications**+ **Outstanding time management and organizational skills**+ **Proven ability to consistently execute multiple, and sometimes competing, activities and complex projects to high quality conclusion, on-time, and within budget.**+ **Creative problem solving skills, working with internal customers to understand intent and goals to deliver communications that meet their needs.****Basic Qualifications**+ **Bachelor’s degree or military experience**+ **At least 5 years of communications experience**+ **At least 1 year of experience creating content on behalf of senior leadership**+ **At least 1 year of experience implementing business communication and organizational change management strategies, plans and deliverables.****Preferred Qualifications**+ **BA in communications, marketing, English or journalism**+ **Experience communicating about enterprise technology topics**+ **At least 2 years of experience in financial services, technology or other highly regulated industry**At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this positionThe minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $128,300 - $146,400 for Communications ManagerCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
