This is an exciting opportunity to combine strong technical expertise with creativity and a strategic mindset to manage the live, stage presentations at in-person events as well as leverage technology to deliver complex hybrid or virtual experiences.Success in this role requires a strong technical/production acumen coupled with exceptional project management skills. The role of Senior Event Producer demands a keen eye for detail, the ability to troubleshoot under pressure, and a collaborative approach to deliver seamless event experiences. You’ll collaborate with all lines of businesses in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)Lead end-to-end technical production of in-person, live, and hybrid events, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, brand standards, and business goals.Create comprehensive production plans by collaborating closely with stakeholders and suppliers.Oversee technical aspects of event production, including audio, visual, lighting, and staging, to create immersive experiences. Create diagrams, show flows, edit presentations, and call the show on-site.Manage relationships with external vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure optimal service delivery.Develop event budgets, timelines, resources, efficiently - and in partnership with the planning team - while maintaining the highest quality standards.Coordinate sharing of best practices with colleagues and cross functional teams.Additional Responsibilities:Conduct pre-event site inspections and technical and presenter rehearsals.Develop and implement technical production workflows.Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions.Manage post-event reporting and analysis to identify areas for improvement.What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)* Knowledge of meeting & incentive industries and supporting technologies.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office* Expert knowledge with Microsoft PowerPoint* Understanding of AutoCAD, or similar room layout software, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or audio editing.What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)* Five + years of experience in a live event production role.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Strong ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.* Display decisive and successful problem-solving skills.* Achieve results through teamwork and collaboration.* Produce results in a fast paced, high pressure, deadline-driven environment.* Ability to think strategically, understand business needs and apply creative problem-solving skills.* Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously* High degree of diplomacy* Requires extensive travel (25% on average), possible several day travel necessary for event prep and production and non-traditional hoursEqual Employment Opportunity/Disability/VeteransIf you need an accommodation due to a disability, please email us at accommodations@metlife.com.
