Come be a part of what makes us so special!**The Opportunity**The candidate selected for this position will take part in designing for the Chief of Staff Team within USAA’s Enterprise Chief Information Office. They will work with on a wide range of projects that vary from presentations, print, and visual design.Within defined guidelines and framework, collaborates with business clients throughout the enterprise to produce graphics that best visually represent product content across all types of media. Works to plan and implement design solutions that meet the business client objectives within specific timeline. Partners with cross-functional areas, such as IT, to deploy graphic design product and ensure appropriate design elements applied (graphics, layout, colors, content) for best member experience. Ensures compliance with any regulatory policies or company procedures.We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be **in the office 4 days per week.** This position can be based in the following location: San Antonio, TX. Relocation assistance is **not** available for this position.**What you'll do:**+ Collaborates with business clients to produce moderately complex to complex graphics for different types of media to include, video, print, interactive media, presentations and events. Delivers graphic design product in a timely manner.+ Gathers business requirements from the business clients and builds visually compelling graphics. Plans and oversees the design and end to end production of the final product to ensure it aligns to the client’s vision for product strategy and member experience. Maintains client informed of progress.+ Begins to develop overall art direction for some high-level company briefings, corporate video and corporate events that require intermediate knowledge.+ Interprets information, statistics and creates design solutions that communicate clarity, precision and efficiency to ensure production of high-quality work within a timely manner.+ Works with enterprise partners as needed to understand requirements and client requests.+ Meet regularly with stakeholders and business leaders to work on graphic design production assignments and deliver briefings as needed.+ Collaborates with team members to resolve issues and to identify appropriate issues for escalation.+ Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.**What you have:**+ Bachelor's Degree in Art, Communication, Marketing, Graphic Arts, or a related field; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.+ 4 years of experience in graphic design using different mediums such as print, multimedia, web development, storyboarding, and animation.+ Advanced knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe In-Design, Adobe Media Encoder, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.+ Project management skills with experience directing work of others to deliver product within timeline, budget and business specifications.+ Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills to interact with leadership and present innovative design concepts to develop products according to business requirements.**What sets you apart:**+ Experience designing with print materials (Logos, booklets, signage, etc.)+ Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, photoshop and InDesign skillset.+ Proficient in PowerPoint+ Project Management SkillThe above description reflects the details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job and should not be construed as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be performed in the job.**What we offer:****Compensation:** USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
