We encourage candidates to be forthright about their strengths and weaknesses so that we can attempt to find a role and set of responsibilities that is right for the individual.VizRT ArtistThe VizRT Artist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing Viz Graphics. They possess a strong understanding of the live production and broadcast environment. They will manage the process from creative designs to on-screen product and graphic templates and fulfilling the editorial requirements by delivering user-friendly front ends. They will create and develop tools and workflows to enable broadcast presentations and streamline production operations. They are a proactive team player who can assist in coordination and delivery as well as provide expertise related to integration between Viz systems and other production systems.We are seeking someone who possesses confidentiality, excellent organisational and note-taking skills, and reliability. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines.This is a Full Time position in-office. It will be 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.Key Responsibilities:Providing concept creation, design, VizRT build, data integration, implementation, operational training and support of VizRT Real-Time, live graphics packages for various clients.Project management and coordination of complex graphics system implementations.Providing sales and support assistance to other associated broadcast products that may be distributed by Girraphic Park Pty Ltd.Providing technical and engineering support to customers.Providing assistance with graphic designs and on air implementation to customers.Installation and test of graphics systems at customer sites.Training of customers in the use of Vizrt products.On-going maintenance and updating of existing on-screen graphics packages.Troubleshooting issues with Real-Time graphics platforms.Assisting, building and implementing new on-screen graphics and graphic assets on a daily basis, closely following briefs and working to tight deadlines.Applying graphics scenes in a live broadcast environment.Implementation of immediate graphics or functionality changes when necessary.Assisting in building and maintaining playout templates consistent with design solutions supplied.Establishing and building strong working relationships with all relevant clients involved in the production pipeline from creation to playout, both internally and with third party suppliers.Being aware of developing technologies within the industry and be passionate about applying those to a live broadcast environment.Demonstrating a solid understanding of all aspects of television production and working within a live production environment.Ability to travel domestically and internationally. Passport required.Preferred Qualifications:Skilled across the whole VizRT platform, with in-depth knowledge of Viz Artist.Engineering Degree or Diploma in Computer Sciences or similarOperational and Technical expertise of the Vizrt Graphics ProductsAdobe Creative SuiteKnowledge of Maya and/or Cinema 4DFamiliarity with gaming engines or associated 3D applicationsExperience as a graphics operator within a BroadcasterExperience as a trainer, preferably on broadcast graphics.Substantial experience in any of the following applications:ROSS XpressionBrainstormVentuzChyronHegoUnrealUnityAllegorithmic | SubstanceVB ScriptHTML5
