We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites in RIDC Pittsburgh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and the hospitality industry, with at least 5+ years of managerial or sales experience. This role is essential to driving revenue growth by securing group bookings and attracting business clients to our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to increase hotel occupancy, revenue, and market share.

Business Development: Identify and target potential business clients and groups, including corporate clients, events, and tour operators, to increase hotel bookings.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, travel agents, event planners, and local businesses to promote the hotel’s services and amenities.

Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.

Revenue Management: Collaborate with the revenue management team to develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.

Marketing Initiatives: Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, both online and offline, to increase brand visibility and attract new customers.

Event Planning: Work with clients to plan and execute meetings, conferences, and other events at the hotel, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales or hospitality management, preferably within the hotel industry.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Strong understanding of the Pittsburgh market and key business sectors.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
