Overview

TRC is seeking a

Senior Manager, Communications Strategy , with a background in the transportation, utility, or clean energy sector to join our growing team based in our

Santa Monica, CA

office. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your proven marketing and outreach expertise to support a range of marketing, communications, media, and creative campaigns to help drive adoption of advanced, clean vehicles, technologies, services, and infrastructure across a range of industries.To excel in this role, you will enjoy working in a client-based, fast-paced, results-oriented team environment, have excellent communication skills, and understand B2B marketing tactics and the major trends shaping the clean transportation industry.

Responsibilities

Creating and implementing B2B marketing and communications strategies for clients from beginning to end, including strategic planning, goal setting, budgeting, collateral and creative development, and impact reporting. Core responsibilities include:Developing, implementing, and managing multi-channel communications and outreach campaigns to drive market adoption for zero-emission vehicles and infrastructure solutions leveraging a range of digital and in-person B2B marketing tactics and communication channelsSupporting clients to develop user personas and buyers' journey maps to help identify business needs and shape robust outreach campaignsConducting preliminary market research to understand barriers, challenges, and opportunities, identify promising marketing segments, and new business development opportunities such as strategic partnershipsCoordinate with database teams to perform research on target sectors; strategically craft targeted segments for email campaigns based on firmographic data, online user behavior, event history, and other known user informationWork closely with clients to create comprehensive, multi-channel marketing campaigns to help build awareness, establish thought leadership, and increase engagementIdentify and create pieces of marketing collateral, including videos, to help inform target audiencesMeasure and report on the impact of marketing and communications campaigns to support overall account and business goalsChampion new business development efforts to expand TRC's client baseQualifications

5-6 years of B2B marketing experience in the advanced transportation, utility, or clean energy industryBachelor's degree required, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Business, English, or Public RelationsExperience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns using digital marketing, paid campaigns, in-depth surveys, videos, in-person and virtual events, webinars, and emails as well as content creation - having managed multiple marketing programs for various clients simultaneouslyExcellent communication skills including the ability to research and develop B2B marketing copy and longform thought leadership articlesFamiliarity with media relations practices, ability to identify opportunities to collaborate with the Media Relations team to secure organic, earned media opportunities for clientsStrong business acumen with the ability to understand and articulate key business drivers to senior decision-makers and clientsExperience building and tracking client budgets for proposals and formal RFP responses as well as for day-to-day project managementProven ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally, with experience of working closely with sales teamOur Mission

Compensation : In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation:

Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $105,393.00 - USD $131,872.00 /Yr.
